The small print, out in the open
Website terms of use
The terms that apply when you use this website. Written to be read, not to trip you up.
Last updated: August 2026.
Who we are
This website is run by Trade Access Partners Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17415665, with its registered office at Burston Court, Bow, Crediton, England, EX17 6LB. We provide a UK operating base for international machinery manufacturers. If anything in these terms is unclear, email info@tradeaccesspartners.co.uk and a person will explain it. By using this site you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What this site is for
The site exists so you can learn about our services, read our guides, and send us an enquiry. Use it normally and it will never trouble you. Please do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, disrupt it, harvest its content at scale, or use the enquiry form to send anything other than a genuine enquiry.
Accuracy of content
We take real care over what we publish. Our guides quote official sources, and dated pages show when we last checked them. Even so, regulations, duties and markets change, sometimes quickly, and we cannot promise that every page is complete, accurate or current on the day you read it. Treat this site as a well-informed starting point, and check the official source before you act on anything important.
Information, not advice
Nothing on this site is legal, tax, customs or other professional advice, and reading it does not create an adviser relationship. Resources such as our UK market-entry guide and first-shipment checklist are general information for machinery manufacturers. Decisions about structuring, tax, contracts and compliance need advice from your own qualified advisers, applied to your own facts. We say the same thing in person, in every assessment.
Our content and your use of it
The content of this site, including its text, page design and graphics, belongs to Trade Access Partners or its licensors. You are welcome to read it, print it, quote it with credit, and share links to it within your business while you weigh up working with us. Republishing substantial parts of it, or using our content commercially, needs our written permission first.
Links to other websites
Our pages link out to external sources, including GOV.UK guidance and industry bodies, because we would rather show you the source than ask you to take our word for things. We do not control those sites, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on them. Their own terms and privacy notices apply when you visit.
Liability
This site is provided free of charge, as general information. To the fullest extent the law allows, we accept no liability for loss or damage arising from reliance on the site's content, or from the site being interrupted or unavailable. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These terms cover your use of the website only: any services we provide to your business are governed by their own written agreement.
Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy policy, and our use of cookies in our cookie policy. Both are short, and in plain English.
Changes, and the law that applies
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page, with its date at the top. These terms, and any dispute arising from your use of this site, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
