The small print, out in the open
Privacy policy
What we collect through this website, what we do with it, and the rights you have over it. The short version: we use your details to reply to you, and for nothing else without asking first.
Last updated: August 2026.
Who we are
This website is run by Trade Access Partners Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17415665, with its registered office at Burston Court, Bow, Crediton, England, EX17 6LB. We provide a UK operating base for international machinery manufacturers, and we are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can read more about the business on our about page. For questions, requests or complaints about your personal information, email info@tradeaccesspartners.co.uk.
What we collect
We keep this deliberately small. We collect:
- The details you type into the enquiry form on our assessment page: your name, work email address, company, country, sector, your message, and your telephone number if you choose to give one. The form sends your enquiry to our email inbox so a person can read it and reply.
- Anything you choose to send us directly by email or messaging, including your contact details and the content of our correspondence.
- Basic technical records. Like almost every website, the servers that host this site keep short-lived technical logs, which can include your IP address and browser type. They exist for security and to keep the site running, not to profile you.
We do not buy marketing lists, and we do not ask for sensitive personal information. If you send us more than we need, we will not use it.
How we use your details
We use your details to answer your enquiry, prepare your market-entry assessment and carry on the conversation you started with us. Under UK GDPR our lawful basis for this is legitimate interests: you have asked us a business question and we are responding to it. Where we ever rely on your consent instead, you can withdraw it at any time.
No marketing without consent. Sending us an enquiry does not put you on a mailing list. If we offer a newsletter in future, joining it will be a separate, deliberate choice, never a hidden tick box.
Who sees your details
The people at Trade Access Partners who handle enquiries, and no wider audience than the job needs. The providers that host our website and our email process data on our behalf so the site and our inbox work. We never sell, rent or swap your information, and we only disclose it where the law requires us to.
How long we keep your details
We keep enquiry correspondence while we are talking with you, and afterwards for as long as normal business record keeping sensibly requires. Once your details no longer serve the purpose you gave them to us for, we delete them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, or provide it to you in a portable format. Email info@tradeaccesspartners.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk. We would welcome the chance to put things right first, so please raise the problem with us before it gets that far.

Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Anything significant will be flagged clearly, not slipped in quietly.
